After reading the poems that Frost has written I wonder if that poems he writes connect with his life? I question this because some of the poems are really depressive and seem to resemble death, so I was wondering if his life and his poems connect to each other.
I also wonder about this at times. Another way in which this is portrayed is the relationship between the protagonist's and Frost's age. What I mean by this is that in a lot of poems Frost has the protagonist either being old or looking back and reflecting at their own lives. This makes me wonder if this collection of poem is Frost's way of looking back and reflecting over his life
ReplyDeleteI agree with Justin and Zack on this concept. Throughout Frost's poetry, he utilizes protagonists that have many regrets in life and in addition have lived very difficult lives in which they did a lot of things they wished they hadn't. It makes the reader wonder how much the protagonists are based on him and what hardships he endured in his life
ReplyDeleteI like that people are commenting, but instead of wondering how these poems connect to Frost's own experiences or making generalizations, leave a more meaningful comment by looking googling Frost's biography, so you can actually make some specific connections.
